Homemade tortilla chips are an easy to make healthy snack that is great with all kinds of dips and I often serve it with chili and stews.

Homemade Corn Tortilla Chips

Instructions

In a bowl mix the 2 cups of corn flour with the 1,5 - 2 cups of warm water, amount depending on the type of Masa Harina you're using.

Mix roughly, ad the baking soda and let sit for about 5 minutes.

Knead the dough well and divide into table-tennis-sized balls

Inbetween two layers of parchment paper, roll into crepes thin sheets, dust with extra flour if too sticky

Toast the tortilas on boath sides in a pre-heated cast iron pan until slightly browned

I love my chips plain, just salted, with lots of guacamole, I do however like to ad a spoon of grated lemon zest to the dough, for freshness. Enjoy!
