Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add onions. Sauté until translucent. Add salt and lower heat to medium low.

Continue cooking until the onions are caramelized, about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook fettucine according to package directions until al dente.

Drain pasta and return to pot. Stir chopped kale into onions. Cover and cook until the kale is tender
