Instructions

Step 1

Pour 1 bottle of white wine into a pitcher. Add sugar and stir. Refrigerate the wine mixture while cutting the fruit.

Step 2

Gather fruit. Cut the top of the strawberries off and chop them into small pieces (about 8-10 pieces per strawberry). Save a few (one for each glass) for the garnish—make a slice through the center starting at the tip, about 3/4 of the way through.

Step 3

Cut the lime in half. Reserve half to be used later, and cut the other half into thin disks for the garnish. Slice into the disks to create slits to easily slide onto the side of a glass later.

Step 4

Cut the top and bottom of the pineapple off and slice down the sides to remove the outer skin. Slice 1/3 of the pineapple into bite-sized pieces.

Step 5

Cut the top and bottom of the grapefruit off and remove the rest of the peel. Slice half of the peeled grapefruit into bite-sized pieces.

Step 6

Cut the orange the same way in which you sliced the grapefruit. Slice the entire orange into bite-sized pieces.

Step 7

Add fruit to each glass in layers.

Step 8

Squeeze the juice from the remaining lime half over the wine mixture. Pour the mixture into each glass until the fruit is covered. Top off with lemon-lime soda. Add the strawberry and lime as garnish.

Step 9

Enjoy your Sunrise Sangria—cheers!
