How to Poach an Egg in the Microwave

Find a little bowl with high sides. The one I have holds about 1 ½ cup of water total and it is close to 4″ in diameter.

Fill your bowl with 2/3 cup of water and add a teeny pinch of salt. If your little bowl has other dimensions, I suggest filling it half way.
